Welcome to Ianum's privacy notice ("Notice").

Ianum, Inc. built and develops the Ianum App as a Free App. This Service is provided by Ianum, Inc. (hereinafter "we", "us" or "our") at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Notice tells you how we use your personal data, the privacy rights you have and how the law protects you.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this Notice. The personal data that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Notice.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Ianum unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Notice.

Personal data we collect

'Personal Data' is any information about an identifiable living individual, but does not include information which you cannot link to a specific person. Your Personal Data is therefore information about and linked to you.

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us your personal data, including but not limited to firstname, lastname, mobile phone number, email address, username. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this Privacy Notice.

How we use your personal data

We will only use your Personal Data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  1. where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you;
  2. where we need to contact you for technical problem or respond to your request;
  3. where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation such as:
    1. compliance with applicable procedures, laws or regulations including in relation to retaining records of business activities and payment of taxes or
    2. disclosures to law enforcement agencies or in connection with legal claims, health & safety compliance, regulatory, investigative and disciplinary purposes (including disclosure of such information in connection with legal process or litigation).

Failure to provide personal data where requested

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you do not provide that Data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with services) and so we may have to cancel the contract.

International transfers of your personal data

The personal data we collect (or process) in the context of our App will be stored in the EEA and other countries. Some of the data recipients with whom Ianum shares your personal data may be located in countries other than the country in which your personal data originally was collected.

The laws of some jurisdictions outside the EEA may not be as protective as data protection Laws in the EEA. Ianum will ensure that, for such jurisdictions, appropriate measures are in place for compliance with data protection law in relation to transfer of personal data to those jurisdictions.

We take measures to comply with applicable legal requirements for the transfer of personal data to recipients in countries outside of the EEA that do not provide an adequate level of data protection. We use a variety of measures to ensure that your personal data transferred to these countries receives adequate protection in accordance with data protection rules; this includes signing the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

We value your trust in providing us your personal data, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Data Retention  

We have legal duties to keep various records and records need to be held for different periods of time, depending on their contents.

We will therefore keep Personal Data for as long as we reasonably consider we may need to in connection with those obligations.

Where we do not have keep personal data for a period specified by law we will not keep personal data for longer than data protection law allows us to.

Please note that nobody but you can decrypt data stored into our database, even Ianum and its employees cannot, therefore, if you would no longer use the App, Ianum will not hold any personal data about you. For further information about our approach to data retention, please contact us.

Your privacy rights  

Under data protection laws you are entitled to ask Ianum for a copy of your personal data and to ask for it to be corrected, edited or have its processing restricted. In certain situations, you may also be entitled to ask Ianum to transfer some of your personal data to other organisations.    

You may also have rights to object to some processing of your personal data although Ianum may continue that processing if it is required in connection with legal obligations.  

Your personal data rights may be limited or subject to exceptions in some situations for example, where Ianum demonstrates that it has a legal requirement to process your data (such as where tax authorities require us to retain it) or where it is needed for proper performance of a contract).

Where Ianum has asked for your consent to process personal data and that consent is withdrawn we will not process that personal data further but may not be able to continue providing the goods or services for which the personal data was sought.  

Where Ianum has a legal right or obligation to retain personal data or wishes to do so in connection with its legitimate interests, it may do so even if you have withdrawn consent for Ianum to hold your personal data.

Where Ianum requires personal data to comply with legal or contractual obligations, the provision of such data is mandatory.  If such data is not provided, Ianum will not be able to engagement relationship, or to meet obligations placed on it. In all other cases, provision of requested personal data is optional.

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (of the member state where you live, work, or where you think the alleged violation has occurred) in case of infringement of regulations concerning the protection of personal data.

Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
